Hypocrisy isn’t just for liberal, left-wing elitists anymore! Finally someone is reviewing the video tape of Republican talking heads and discovering that hypocrisy knows no party. The Karl Rove piece is most telling and I think he should have ended with that instead of leading with it, otherwise this is Jon Stewart at his best.
Dammit! I just watched my Tivoed Daily Show convention coverage, and I was going to post it on my blog as soon as I found an online source (forgot Comedy Central posts clips). Maybe the Obama campaign should hire Comedy Central to create their campaign ads. There were several devastating segments during last weeks coverage, especially during this episode. Of course, if they were used now, the right would use the fact that they originated on a comedy show to question their accuracy. How do you argue with documentary evidence?
