A Day in the Life of…

Well, I’m just sitting here listening to talk radio. Actually I just turned it off. The guys in the next room are playing their music really loud so I might have to crank up my music to counteract it. I just popped in some Ben Folds Five. You might think that BFF is a pussy band, but I think they rock and I think you are a tone deaf moron who listens to Puff Daddy because he’s so original.

My roommate moved out the other day. He didn’t tell me he was moving out, he just did it. Of course we never talked anyway, so I suppose that’s no big deal. I’m roommateless right now and I hope I stay that way for a while.

I cleaned my room yesterday. It’s the first time I’ve done that since I got here really. I bought some plastic drawers at Sam’s and put a bunch of crap in them and I put my alarm clock on top. Then I put my refrigerator on top of my regular chest of drawers. It blocks my mirror, but I usually don’t use it anyway, so it doesn’t really matter. My microwave is sitting on top of another set of drawers that I previously shared with my roommate. However, my roommate stored his incense in them and now anything I put in there smells like incense, so I only put crap in there that I don’t care what it smells like.

I didn’t take a shower yesterday. I had stayed out the night before, so I got up just in time to go to class. Then I came back and slept until my next class. After that I really didn’t have a reason to shower other than that yucky feeling you get when you don’t shower. So I felt yucky all day yesterday. I really didn’t have a reason to shower today, but I did anyway because I didn’t want to feel yucky. Now I need to shave.

I went to the computer lab today to print some copies of my Physics professor’s web site. But for some reason, they wouldn’t print. I was pissed because I spent about an hour and a half messing with it and I came away with nothing. So I guess I’ll just have to wing it until I can figure out how to get some copies made.

I bought some new foods at Wal-Mart yesterday. I got some Apple-Cinnamon Quaker Oatmeal and some Baked Potato Chunky Campbell’s soup. They are both pretty good.

I went and saw my friend Shana the other day. I think we were supposed to be on a date, but we spent the whole time with her roommates and some other guys. I had fun even though it wasn’t what I was expecting. I don’t know if Shana and I are really made for each other anyway. I like hanging out with her, but I think she just wants to be friends and that might not be a bad idea. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

I think I’m really going to enjoy my Geology classes this semester. We get to take field trips in both of them. Plus I’ve got a couple of really good teachers. My Structural teacher seems like he really knows what he’s doing and the way he says “faults and folds” cracks me up. I should have picked geology for a major a long time ago.
